Julie Fuller looks over
the selection of movies for sale at the Rainbow Cafe with Tina Chen before the movie hire section of the store ends.

AFTER thirty three years it is no longer possible to hire videos in Rainbow. The hire of videos in the old VHS format began at the old Jonesey’s Electrical
shop.

Then successive owners of the Rainbow Cafe: Paul and Carlene Hammond, Stephen and Shirlene Dobson, Ken and Jenny Marshman, Steve and Lily and finally Richard Yao and Tina Chen have hired out videos.

Greg from Country Road Video wishes to thank those businesses and the people of Rainbow for their support over the thirty three years. Tina Chen said that video hire has declined over the years with the decline increasing after the arrival of the NBN with more people downloading movies online.
