Dimboola Police officer, Leading Senior Constable Cal Myers presents Sam Hennessy with his ‘Spirit of Football’ award before his game at Dimboola on Saturday morning.

The round 13 winner of the ‘Spirit of Football’ award for  2017 Wimmera Football League season Dimboola Under 17 footballer was awarded to Sam Hennessy.

Leading Senior Constable Cal Myers said, “Sammy has been playing with Dimboola for a few years now, and has shown a great passion for his footy, and his footy club Dimboola.”

“Over this season Sam has developed into a good young man and leader. Sam has really improved his attitude and application to footy this year, as proven by winning the ‘Spirit of football’ award.”

“Well done Sam keep up the good work you've been putting in as it will definitely help you in the future,” Leading Senior Constable Cal Myers said.

Dimboola Football Netball Club  congratulates Sammy in winning this award.
