Rainbow Hospital staff were pleased to see the removal of the large red fire hydrant box that blocked the view of the football oval from the Day Centre room window.

After many years of campaigning for the removal of the red fire hydrant structure that obstructed the view of the north end of the football ground, especially when goals were being kicked, the big red fire box that was located outside the Rainbow Hospital Day Centre Room window is now gone.

Dawn Petschel and many others have campaigned for many years for this to happen.

Now residents, patients and staff will be able to see any sport on the oval without a large metal box in the way.

All residents are now extremely happy, as well as all staff.
