TWO drivers miraculously walked away from a collison at the intersection of Aubrey and Blue Ribbon Roads on Friday afternoon.

Just after 2pm the vehicles approached the intersection in quite heavy rain with a green Ford Falcon tray allegedly failing to give way and slammed into the side of a Toyota Hilux travelling north along Blue Ribbon Road.

The force of the collision saw the Hilux roll twice before coming to a rest in a paddock beside the road.

The drivers, a 19 year old female in the Hilux and middle-aged male in the Ford were both extremely lucky to escape serious injury.

Warracknabeal police attended the scene and passed the investigation on to Highway Patrol with investigations still underway .
