All ability netballer Bianca Lauricella has again been selected in the All Abilities Victorian Netball team which is heading to Perth for the Marie Little OAM Shield tournament from September 1 to 3.
This is her second time she has been selected for the team in as many years.
Passionate about her netball she also this year stepped up to play with the awesome Under 17’s Dimboola Roo’s team and has had a huge impact on the team.
Binaca also plays with the Wimmera Whippets, all abilities netball team.
Fabian Lauricella said, “Bianca had to work hard on her fitness this year and I give a big thank you to the Dimboola Football and Netball Club who has shown enormous support for her readiness to get to Western Australia.”
“The club has been a fantastic help for Bianca,” he said.
Last year her team placed third after missing the semi-final by one goal against South Australia .
Bianca, aged 16 has played with the state side for two years. She plays with the Wimmera Whippets and attends the Special Development School in Horsham.
The Banner understands her family need help to get her to Perth and is seeking community support. The funds raised will go towards equipment , travel expenses, accommodation and her development going forward as a netball star.
“Bianca’s family would be most gracious towards any donations or support given and we look forward to showcasing the Wimmera’s best at the national level,” said Mr Lauricella.
