Apex incentive awards open for nominations

The 2018 bi-annual Warracknabeal Apex Community Incentive Awards are now open for community groups and organisations seeking funds for projects.
The club is currently advertising for nominations for the awards and is inviting community groups to nominate their projects, with a total prize pool of $4,500 up for grabs.
The Warracknabeal Men’s Shed was the recipient of the club funds two years ago in 2016, and prior to that the Warracknabeal Guides were the winners and the Warracknabeal Playgroup runners up in 2014.
The Warracknabeal Band also received an encouragement award of $1,000 as a club members choice, while all other applicants received a trailer load of wood to raffle as a fundraiser.
Nominations will be given an opportunity to present their case to Apex Club members and guests with a community based judging panel making the final decision on the award finalists.
Entries for the awards will close next Friday on June 8, however for any other enquiries, details can be obtained by contacting Cameron Drage on 0427 040121.
The awards and presentation will be held on Friday July 6, at the Warracknabeal Golf Club House.
