Flanny for a Farmer this Friday

Caption: Jason Hay and Bronwyn McIntyre want everyone to dress in a flanny this Friday.
It’s time to fit yourself into a flannelette shirt and throw your support behind our drought-stricken Australian farmers.
Rural Northwest Health campuses at Hopetoun and Warracknabeal will raise money during Flanny for a Farmer Friday on October 19. RNH nurses Bronwyn McIntyre and Jason Hay have organised the event and want the community to get involved along with their colleagues.
The idea is for community members and RNH team members to come along to either campus this Friday just in a flannelette shirt or in complete farmer attire. There is a raffle and a ‘best dressed’ prize for both events as well as a sausage sizzle between noon and 2pm. Warracknabeal campus will also hold a cake stall. All money raised from the two events will be donated to Buy-A-Bale.
“We want to see as many people from the community and RNH get along to show their support for our farmers,” Bronwyn said.“They are the lifeblood of any rural community and they need our help,” she said.“It’s just terrible to see what they are going through right now.”
