Ball wins Grampians shoot

On Saturday, October 25, and Sunday, October 26, Grampians Field and Game held their two-day competition shoot. The winners were given prizes for both days and for the two-day total shoot.

On day one,58 shooters competed; on day two, 74 shooters took up the challenge, coming from Benella, Wycheproof, Minyip, Clunes, Natimuk, Ballarat, Ringwood, Warrnambool, and South Australia.

B M Motorcycles Ringwood donated a Rimfire CZ for a lucky shooter prize. Both days had to be shot to be able to enter the competition.

Neil Millard was the lucky shooter for the day. The club thanks OTC (Outdoor Trading Company) for also sponsoring the event.

The overall winners for the weekend were as follows.

High Gun Winner Kelvyn Ball shooting 125/150.

AA.Grade: Darryl Quigley 119/150, Thomas Close 118/150, Jim Sawyer 111/150.

A.Grade: Robert Papst 117/150, Roger Thamm, 114/150,  Neil Millard 105/150.

B.Grade: Martin Ware 99/150, Andrew Pollock 93/150, Adam Hinch 89/150.

C.Grade: Andrew Shaw, 83/150, Marty Makin, 77/150, Wayne Burton 74/150.

Sub Junior: Willaim Hodder 78/150 - Junior:  88/150

Ladies: Delilah Ryback 82/150, Larelle Souter 79/150, Shannon Ware 74/150.

Vets: Hollywood Hoyland, 108/150, Ken Mikkelsen 107/150, Daniele Skrokov 101/150.

Our next shoot will be held on November 24. It is a 100 target event Sponsored by J & A Shooting and Fishing Supplies.
