Organiser Julie Allen said well over 100 people showed up.
"It was excellent," she said.
"Most of us were dancing every dance and the oldies (as well as the young) loved it."
The band made up of seven musicians including Warracknabeal local-Andrea Phelan played tunes that gave everyone a taste of something different with the accordion, mandolin, harmonica and even spoons being used to make their music.
Ms Allen said she managed to get the Warracknabeal Secondary College students up and dancing.
"They didn't realise how much fun and easy it was," she said.
Families brought along their children and exposed them to a different sort of dancing.
"It was great to see that it was enjoyed by all," Ms Allen said.
"It was a shame it wasn't longer because more would've joined in."
