The race has been running since 2012 when Dallas, a race photographer, sadly passed away.

Jockey Melissa Julius guided Bubble Palace home. Trained by Daniel Bowman, it was paying $2.20 for the win. Smart return finished second with Birdies Galore finishing in third. Demon Blood rounded out the top four.

Local trainer Paul Preusker's Golden Mikki finished second in race two, the Cellarbrations Horsham Maiden Plate, ridden by Dean Yendall.

Earlier in the day, Jockey Brad Rawiller rode his 3000th winner, guiding Patrick Payne trained Italiano home in race three of the Bet365 maiden plate. Italiano jumped the $1.75 favourite and won by 1.30 lengths.

Rawiller thanked everyone after the race.

"Thanks to everyone for your messages but even bigger thanks to everyone that has supported me throughout the years to make it possible," Rawiller said.

"It's fitting that I ride my 3000th winner for Patrick Payne Racing who made it possible for my comeback in the first place."

"It's great to think I have racked up that number and hopefully I can get everything right and have plenty more to come."

On the final race of the card, Rawiller rode his 3001st winner, with Diamond War saluting. Trained by Bill 'W P' Cerchi, it was paying $14 for the win.
