CFA celebrated in Christmas card design
Those receiving greeting cards from Member for Lowan Emma Kealy this Christmas will be gifted a special momento of volunteerism in the Wimmera.

Ms Kealy asked youngsters throughout her electorate to take part in a competition to design the 2024 card's cover.
The winning entry, by Jack Fitzgerald of Moyston Primary School, was described by the Grade 4 student as "This is a fire truck. I chose this because of all the fires that went through Pomonal, and I’d like to thank the CFA for their help”.
Ms Kealy said Jack’s design highlighted the importance of communities coming together and helping one another in times of need, while also encapsulating the Christmas spirit.
“The students took inspiration from a range of places and facets of life in our electorate, including our agriculture industry, our many lakes, rivers and other natural wonders such as Wannon Falls, Mt Arapiles, and our native flora and fauna."
Jack was presented with a large art pack and a set of cards featuring his artwork.
Other students received honourable mentions and cards printed with their own designs.
The deputy leader of The Nationals in Victoria received hundreds of entries from schools across the electorate.
A cross-section of those submitted is displayed in the window of her Horsham office.
“Looking through the beautiful designs our local students create is a wonderful way to end the year, and I sincerely thank the students and schools for taking the time to design a Christmas card for me this year,” she said.
