Churches gather in praise
The annual Prelude to Christmas was held recently at the Lutheran Church, with a large congregation comprising all the town’s churches, and other local residents.

The event, organised by the Warracknabeal Ministers Fraternal group, was hosted by the Warracknabeal Anglican Church.
The congregation enjoyed musical items from
Students from St Mary’s School and Uniting Church members presented musical items, while readings were given by church representatives and students.
The Warracknabeal and District Band, directed by bandmaster Jason Wright, provided carols, and Royal Flying Doctor Service local coordinator Mick Powell also addressed the congregation.
Reverend James Wood conducted proceedings, which concluded with supper in the Lutheran Hall. A collection raised more than $1000.
