Team Fullerton (Red Cliffs) produced Show The Magic and Red Strand at Horsham on Tuesday, both of which won impressively. The Hartigan team (Horsham) won with Zipping Gian at Warrnambool on Monday and then backed it up Tuesday at Horsham with Talkin Bluey.

Show The Magic was ultra-impressive for the Fullerton team, winning the mixed grade four and five events comfortably. Beginning on terms to be midfield early, Show The Magic mustered up well to rail strongly and turn for home with a one-length break, once
leading Show The Magic was never going to be run down, and he went away to win by two
lengths in a quick 23:35sec.

Red Strand then made it a double for the team sweeping down the outside to claim victory. Red Strand began slowly and showed great race sense to stay wide from the wide draw and, on mustering up, was able to challenge for the lead. On straightening for home, Red Strand was ultra-impressive, sweeping down the outside and running away to be a two-length victor in 23:66sec.

Team Hartigan completed their double over two days. Zipping Gian started the week with a
bang for the team at Warrnambool on Monday. Jumping perfectly from the outside box
Zipping Gian mustered up well and went straight to the lead. Gian was challenged strongly from the top of the straight to the finish line but was strong through the line and won by half a length in 22:56sec over the 390m trip.

Talkin Bluey then got the job done at Horsham on Tuesday. Jumping well, he was vying for the early lead as the greyhounds entered the corner in a tight affair. Bluey could hold his position and then turn for home with a one-length break on the field. Challenges came all the way down the straight, but Bluey was able to fight all challenges off, holding on to his one-length break to stop the clock in 23:66sec.

The club has a busy schedule ahead with racing on Tuesday (13th August), Saturday (17th
August, 5pm) and Monday (19th August), and the club would love to see as many spectators
as possible pop down and get up close and personal with these magnificent animals.
