Fun Day a family hit
Warracknabeal Playgroup hosted its first Family Fun Day earlier this month at the Warracknabeal Showgrounds, and it turned into a sunny day was filled with fun and excitement for everyone.

Warracknabeal Playgroup president Natalie Hewitt said the event was well supported, and thanked Yarriambiack Shire Council for last year's Share Grant allocation which was used to fund the event.
"We had a really good turn out with people from right across the Wimmera attending," she said.
"It was really successful, and hopefully we can continue it in the future."
For a gold coin donation, families had access to a range of free activities, including messy play by Young Expressions, face painting by Giggles and Grins Face Painting, cupcake decorating by Hanna's Cakes, and a yoga session held by Sukha Pilates and Fitness.
Tiny Goats and Co were also on site to provide kid-cuddles alongside the arts and crafts tables, sandpit, baby play corner, teenage hangout spot, and over 20 markets stalls.
Local Warracknabeal CFA, SES, Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria had their vehicles on display for adults and children to admire.
Helen's Coffee Van, Spuddy Good food trailer, a barbecue cooked by Warracknabeal Rotary, and treats provided by Golton Made were there to sate the hunger and thirst of attendees.
Raffle tickets were available for purchase at the gate.
The lucky first prize winner was Megan Huebner, who took home a John Deere 12v ride-on tractor, courtesy of Emmetts Warracknabeal.
Stacey Drage won second prize and took home a George the Farmer collection set, a blue sand shell with sand, and a basic car service voucher.
Caleb won third prize, and Ellie Preist fourth.
Matilda Shannon provided live music the outdoor stage, and the Wimmera Roller Derby League showcased their skills throughout the day, putting on skate dancing displays while the Horsham Line Dancers grooved the afternoon away with everyone encouraged to join in.
Ms Hewitt said the money raised at the event will help fund community events for children under five.
"The money will be used to bring more events to the area for free," Ms Hewitt said.
"Thanks to the community for being so supportive on behalf of playgroup.
"Everyone was very generous."
