The Hornets failed to field a women's team in the 2024 season due to a lack of numbers, but they hope that will change in 2025.

Coaching director Matt Lovel said there has been some interest. Following up on the men's title in December, Lovel said having a women's team would be massive for Horsham.

"When the coaches get announced in the next three to four weeks, hopefully, we can get more interest in the ladies team again and work on that," Lovel said.

"Running the applications a lot earlier should help, and while we have interest, being able to name a coach should generate more.

"The main thing is that it gives our juniors something to strive for, and it's a good stepping stone for the kids and for them to put their hands up."

"It would be great to see the girls back into it again, and if we could get two titles in one season, that would be even more impressive."

Scott Benbow coached the Hornets men's team to the CBL title in 2024.

Applications close for the coaching roles at the close of business on Wednesday, February 12. To apply, contact the association.
