Ms Hassey could not release the name of the magazine she was working for, but said the organisation spanned 26 languages, and was syndicated across 32 countries including China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico and Latin America, Spain, Taiwan, the UK and the US.

Ms Hassey spent a night at the Dimboola Imaginarium before heading to Brim to photograph the Silo Art Trail and more of the region.

Dimboola Imaginarium owner Chan Uoy said it was the most exciting news of the year in terms of attracting travellers to the region.

"We skipped the Aussie travel magazines, and we've gone straight to the international stage," Mr Uoy said.

Ms Hassey's photographs have featured in many international publications, both in print and online, which can be seen on her website at www.elisehassey.com
