Little athletes Gift bound

This weekend marks a thrilling occasion for nine talented young athletes from Horsham Little Athletics, who are set to showcase their skills at the highly anticipated 2024 Powercor Stawell Gift.

Among the Horsham contingent are Hannah Plazzer, Georgia Foster, Joel Plazzer, Jett Hill, Jack Sawyer, Mitchell Sawyer, Henry Taylor, Stephanie Plazzer, and Indi Finn.

All age groups will compete against each other and all athletes are allocated a handicap based on their results for the 2023/2024 season.

Indi Finn will tackle the 100m and 400m events. Meanwhile Stephanie Plazzer will compete in the 100m alongside sister Hannah and brother Joel. Georgia Foster will focus solely on the 100m.

Jett Hill embraces a challenging lineup, taking on the 100, 400 and 800m. Mitchell Sawyer will compete in the 100m whilst Jack Sawyer will be in the 100m and 400m. Henry Taylor will compete in both the 100m and 1600m.

There will be semifinals this year followed by a final.
