Lena Marshman thanks coach and parents

Lena Marshman's 22 goals earned her the best on the court in the 15-and-under netball grand final, and she secured the triple having won the league best and fairest three weeks prior. Marshman also backed it up in the under-17s to be a two-time premiership player on the day.

Marshman thanked her parents and coach, Vernetta Taylor, for all they have done to help her.

"It's been a great year, and a lot of that goes to my coach and parents for taking me to the games and giving me the opportunities," Marshman said.

"My coach has taught me nearly everything I know; she is amazing.

"It feels really good to win twice, and it feels great that the 17u have faith in me and want me to join their team.

"I have improved my drive and confidence on the court this year, and I am happy with how much I have improved."
