Natimuk dominate shoot
On Sunday, Minyip and District Field and game held their December Shoot. The event was sponsored by J & A Shooting Supplies, Browns Gypsum and Taylors Palace Hotel.
Kelvyn Ball (Natimuk) won the open class shooting 44/50. In the AA, Kenneth Mikkelsen (Natimuk) won with 41 ahead of team-mate Jock Baker on 40.
Minyip's Stephen Krause won the A grade with 43 ahead of Donald's Kim Walters on 42. Minyip also had a win in B grade through Lachlan Hendy shooting 44. Tony Tuder (Dunolly) was second with 37.
Natimuk were first and second in the C grade through Stephen Burns on 33 and Wayne Hendy, 10.
Chase Porter (Natimuk) was the sub-junior winner with 41 with Minyip's Evie Hendy second with 16. Ruby Ball (Natimuk) won the juniors with 26. Wolfgang Fowler-Dempsey (Minyip) was second, also shooting 26.
Larelle Souter (Natimuk) was victorious in the ladies event with 36 whilst Kirsty Baker (Natimuk) was a close second on 35.
Barrie Crombie (Dunolly) won the veteran shoot on 39 ahead of Ken Schurmann (Minyip) on 38.
