No one has to be alone on Christmas
While Christmas can be a joyful time to be spent with family and friends, for some community members it can also be a lonely time, with family members living far away or when friends are busy.

For more than 15 years Horsham's Uniting Church community has provided a traditional Christmas lunch, so people can gather to share a meal with others.
The annual community Christmas lunch is an opportunity for people who might be home alone or are feeling isolated on Christmas Day, to be with others in a safe and friendly environment.
Last years' lunch saw 140 people come together to have Christmas lunch, while enjoying the company of others.
Guests are invited to arrive from 11.30am and lunch will be served at 12 noon.
A donation of $5 per person would be appreciated and transport assistance is available within Horsham.
To assist with catering, guests are asked to register their attendance by contacting the Uniting Church office on 5382 4380 or Mandy Kirsopp on 0408 826 727.
