The Swifts travel to Rupanyup for a tough matchup with the Panthers, who are on fire, having won six straight games and sitting second on the ladder. The Baggies are sixth on the ladder.

The Panthers are at full strength with coach Jedda Heard saying they have a few things to work on ahead of tough matches to come.

"It will be a good match. We are going to get a lot of practice in and work on a couple of things," Heard said.

Kaniva Leeor is seventh on the ladder, one game behind the Swifts. They host a Harrow Balmoral outfit that has been improving in recent weeks.

Both teams are coming off big losses to premiership contenders, and it's a very important clash for the Cougars. A loss could put them two games behind sixth spot depending on other results.

At Kalkee Recreation Reserve, the Kees host Edenhope Apsley in a danger game for the home side. The Kees are sitting fourth, one game behind second and third, and will be looking to stay in touch. They will face a significant challenge from the Saints.

Noradjuha Quantong, who is third on the ladder, plays Taylors Lake. Even though the Bombers have found their groove and have been one of the hottest teams in recent weeks, the Lakers will be tough to beat.

Bombers coach Fiona Rowe said that whilst there are some niggling injuries, they want to play a sharp attacking game.

"Injuries are part of the game, and our aim each week, regardless of who we are up against, is to go out there and play our own game," Rowe said.

"We aim to bring a strong, attacking, sharp game whilst continuing to grow each week.

"We have learned a lot against the top teams, and I feel that the girls' have grabbed hold of the learnings and pushed each other to improve."

Pimpinio and Natimuk, two of the competition's youngest teams, will compete in the other match.

Both teams have one win for the season, and a second will be massive for the winner as they look for momentum in the back half of the season to develop for the future.

Lana Ellis and Ada Binney have been shooting well for the Tigers lately, so Natimuk's defense must be on point.
