The Swifts are currently second on the ladder, one game clear of Rupanyup, who is fourth, on equal points with Noradjuha Quantong.

The Baggies midseason recruits Andrew Cameron and Chevy Elliott hit the ground running last week and only strengthened their lineup moving forward.

Pimpinio, after starting the year off with a five-game winning streak, has lost its last three matches. When it hosts Natimuk, it hopes to return to the winner's list at Pimpinio Sporting Complex.

The Tigers will be desperate to atone for last week's loss and make their mark again as they push for a finals berth.

At the Kalkee Recreation Reserve, Kalkee hosts an improved Saints lineup that is nearly at full strength and is not the team it was in the first few weeks of the year.

The Kees have many injuries, so if the Saints are to push for the finals, they need to win this game.

After losing by a massive margin last week, things don't get any easier for Kaniva Leeor as they host Harrow Balmoral at Kaniva Recreation Reserve.

The Southern Roos' loss of Brait Headon to a knee injury will hurt them, but coach Jai Thompson said they have options to cover his loss.

"We will try a few different players and work out what is best, but George Austin played well after Brait went down, so he will get a crack," Thompson said.

"If we can use George and keep our forward structure, it will be fantastic.

"A couple of players through the reserves may get an opportunity, so we will assess it during the week and make plans accordingly."

At Dock Lake Recreation Reserve, the Lakers return from the bye and face a challenging task against a rampaging Noradjuha Quantong outfit.

Bombers coach Damian Cameron said they won't get any players back with Zac Kelly, Dylan Shelley and himself still unavailable.

"We will take a similar side from last week, and the vibe is very high at the moment. We are looking forward to hopefully putting in another four-quarter effort," Cameron said.
