Playgroup gets a helping hand

The Warracknabeal Playgroup is without a home and is desperately looking for another space to use for parents and young children to meet up and socialise.
Currently, the group of hard working Playgroup volunteers need to pack and unpack their equipment each week at in order to have a Playgroup session, but this is unsustainable.
Being aware of this dilemma, the Warracknabeal Rotary Club decided to support the group, recognising its importance in the health and growth of local children and families.
On behalf of the club, Rotarian Wendy Hewitt recently presented a cheque for $700 to Playgroup president Natalie Hewitt and Lucy Holland.
The amount was a culmination of donations from the community at this year's Australia Day event in Warracknabeal, which was organised by the Rotary Club with the assistance of Playgroup.
If you can offer a suitable space for Playgroup to hold their sessions, please contact Natalie Hewitt
