There was an exciting night of racing Saturday, with action from Juniors, Production Sedans and Wingless amongst other classes, before the quarter midgets hit the track on Sunday for their series.

Raymond Ussher claimed the final win in Production Sedans, followed by Felicity Roycroft and Bryan Galley.

Roycroft was both pleased and relieved to finish a final, after her last and only prior two hit outs in the class results in blown engines.

“I was beyond happy to come second,” Roycroft said.

“The field I was racing was unbelievable.”

After their bus wouldn’t start when leaving, the family made the trek from Shepparton with two cars and two trailers, because while Roycroft competed on Saturday, her and husband Shane’s children, Ollie and Nate, were on track Sunday in the quarter midgets.

“It was a drivers track on Saturday night,” Roycroft said.

“You had to drive to the conditions.

“Having three cars race the weekend was a challenge for our family, but man it’s cool to see our kids out there.”

Speedway Sedans Australia (SSA) Juniors were also on track, with Jake Bradley earning the chequered flag in the final, with Pary Das and Jackson Warrener also finishing on the podium.

As always, Wingless also put on a show, with Blake Walsh recording the fastest lap for the night (16.05 seconds), and also was the first to cross the finish line in the feature, followed by Jayden Lock in second and Luke Johnson in third.

Walsh, from Cobden, had a first and a fourth in his heat races, before starting the final from pole.

Walsh said it was a slick track all night, and proved to be quite technical.

"My car was really fast and my crew had me dialled in," he added, thanking his crew and sponsors for their support.

Other winners from the night included: V8 Trucks - 1st: Luke James, 2nd: Nathan Bird and 3rd: Wes Bell, VSC 1200 Juniors - 1st: Archie Thomas, 2nd: Rebecca Johnstone and 3rd: Lily Dannatt and VSC Sports Sedans - 1st:Kevin Clark, 2nd: Jason Berger and 3rd: Mia Lamb.
