The match went down to the final two ends with Greg Sleep's and Wendy Sleep's rinks in a tough battle for supremacy.

With Rainbow leading 68-66, it was Greg Sleep who bowled tremendously well under pressure which helped Rainbow secure victory.

When Sleep came to bowl, Beulah was in a winning position and was on the verge of winning the end and the grand final with it.

Sleep came on and immediately bowled Rainbow back into the end with a great bowl that put his bowl closest to the jack.

After that moment, Beulah had just won the last end against Wendy Sleep's rink and the margin was just a slender one-point lead.

It came down to the last bowl from Beulah. The ball hit the jack, but with a bit too much force which moved the jack closer to a Rainbow bowl. A measuring tape was needed and it confirmed that Rainbow had won the final, 69-67.

All throughout the day Rainbow were in the lead, hovering around the six point mark, but Beulah clawed their way back in the final 10 ends to nearly secure victory.

Rod McLean's rink was instrumental in setting up the win, winning their match 27-22.
