Holy Trinity Lutheran College secondary students made a colourful impression during Health and Physical Education Week.

While HPE-themed trivia kept the brain cells buzzing and vegetable eating was a treat for the bellies, the fun-ometer scaled the heights when the youngsters were let loose on the colour run.

Year 7-11 students wrapped up a week of activities with a blast of purple and pink, while Junior School (Foundation-Year 6) students took part in activities such as capture the flag, hopscotch, totem tennis, quoits and cross-country.

“Currently students are in exam week or exam revision week and have a fair bit of stress and work going on, so it is a great time to teach them good habits around physical activity and study,” Seconday School head of health and physical education Meg Cashin said.

“It is also a great time for students to let off some steam and enjoy an activity with their friends and teachers.

“We have a great HPE team who are very passionate about promoting HPE in not only the school community but the Horsham community.

“The colour run is about getting students active in a fun and enjoyable way.”
