Tottenham won the Female Masters Single Scull division one by two lengths, held over 500m. Wentworth's Alexandra Lawler and Hannah Doherty-McMillan rounded out the podium with Horsham's Audrey Kottek in fourth place.

Horsham Rowing Club coach Ray White said that it was a tough victory and she was very happy.

"Being a short regatta, there is not a huge number of entrants which meant faster change around times," White said.

"Rowers were jumping out of one boat to the next to get to the next race and there was no recovery time.

"Sarah was thrilled not only to get the win but also because she managed that quite well. I am very happy for her."

White said that the Wentworth Regatta is a beautiful course to row on.

"It's held on the Darling River so it's nice and wide with smooth, deep water," White said.

"It was very pleasant. The weather was hot and humid but it was beautiful. It's a well run regatta. They are a good club."

Dan Hendrie was the other rower from Horsham that competed. He finished second with Audrey Kottek in the Mixed Masters Double Scull division one.

The final race of the season is the Victorian State Championships held at Nagambie on April 27 and 28.

Following the state championships, during winter, the Horsham Rowing Club will train for their next big goal in November, the Head of the Yarra, which is the biggest race in Australia.
