Willenabrina CWA celebrates Elaine
Elaine Quick has celebrated 54 years of service to Willenabrina Country Women's Association (CWA) and received a service award to commemorate the achievement.
Mrs Quick joined on October 1 1970 and made her way into the executive team in 1994 as branch president.
She held the position six times and has also been branch secretary five times and branch treasurer for 11 years between 1998 and 2017, totalling 22 years in the executive team.
Mrs Quick is also a former winner of the prestigious Annual Group Branch Secretary Report - the Book of Honour.
She has been craft convener and press secretary for the Willenbrina branch, and served as treasurer for the region's Central Wimmera Group.
Mrs Quick regularly contributes her sewing and craft works to monthly branch competitions and exhibits at the annual Warracknabeal Show.
Her work has also featured at many group conferences and state competitions.
Mrs Quick often has a jam, relish or delicious plate to share with the market stall or at branch afternoon teas, along with many cuttings or snippets from her garden.
She has been an enthusiastic member during her years of service at Willenabrina CWA.
