Wimmera COVID-19 cases slightly decrease
Across the Wimmera there are 48 new COVID-19 cases recorded on Wednesday.

ACROSS the Wimmera there are 48 new COVID-19 cases recorded on Wednesday, with total active cases at 288.
In the Horsham municipality there were 30 new cases reported, taking the total active cases to 179 on March 9.
In the Northern Grampians seven new cases were recorded, leaving the total active cases at 39.
Five new cases were recorded in Hindmarsh for a total of 33 active cases, with Yarriambiack recording 27 total active cases after five new cases were recorded.
In the West Wimmera there was one new cases recorded, with the total active cases at 10.
Across Victoria 61.4 percent of people 18-years-old and above have received their third dose of the vaccine and 94.1 percent of people 12-years-old and above have received two doses of the vaccine.
Across Victoria 2323 new cases were recorded through PCR tests and 4758 Rapid Antigen Test positives were recorded in the 24 hours prior to 12pm, March 9.
There are currently 196 people hospitalised for COVID-19 in Victoria, with three people ventilated, and in the last 24 hours the department was notified of nine lives lost.
Overall there are 38,874 active cases in the state.

The Wimmera Health Care Group drive through testing service on Read Street, Horsham with the entry on Arnott Street is open 8am to 11am daily.
The Horsham Respiratory Clinic is open for COVID-19 testing on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 5pm, Tuesday from 9am to 5pm, Friday from 9.20am to 5pm, Saturday from 10am to 1pm and Sunday from 9am to 12.20pm.
