The event took place on Sunday, August 4, at the Patterson River Performing Arts Centre, where the young athletes demonstrated their talent and teamwork.

Under the guidance of coach Erin Witmitz and her assistants, Margaret Attard, and Ebonie Janeetzki, the team achieved outstanding results. They secured second place in the March and Aesthetics routines, showcasing their precision and grace. The girls claimed first place in the Clubs, Freearm, Rods, and Review categories, earning them the Division 5 aggregate win.

Coach Erin Witmitz expressed her pride in the team’s performance, stating, “It was a wonderful way for the juniors to start their 2024 competition season. They were positive and supportive of one another all day, and in the end, were able to come away with a win. They should be very proud of themselves.”

Looking ahead, Horsham Calisthenics College is set to host its own three-day competition starting on Friday, August 23rd. The event will welcome clubs from across the state to Horsham, where they will compete in solo and team categories.

The college anticipates another exciting opportunity to showcase the talents of calisthenics athletes from around Victoria.
